Genevieve M. Wilson, 81, of Chenoa, formerly of Woodstock and Table Grove, died at 3:05 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 1997, at Meadows Mennonite Home.
She was born Jan. 22, 1916, in Table Grove, a daughter of Garrett and Jennie Maxwell Seward. She married Roy Wilson on July 30, 1938, in Missouri. He died Jan. 2, 1988. One brother and one sister also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Stanley Wilson of Columbia, S.C., and Roger Wilson of Woodstock; two daughters, Janice Hughes of Arlington, Va., and Margaret Anderson of Bloomington; 10 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was a teacher at Hazel Grove School in Table Grove.
She was a member of Table Grove Community Church, where services were held Monday with Rev. Richard L. Stone officiating. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb. Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava was in charge of arrangements.
