Violet Wallace, 83, of Vermont, died at 8:44 a.m. Thursday, March 23, 1995, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born Aug. 6, 1911, in Woodland Township, Fulton County, a daughter of George Washington and Lona Ellen Darling Springs. She married Ralph Wallace in May 1954 in Lewistown. He died Feb. 21, 1966. Eight brothers and four sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews, including Patsy Springs of Vermont, who took care of her.
She was a member of Vermont Christian Church.
Funeral services were held Monday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Clint Palmer officiating. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery, south of Astoria.
