Evelyn Weaver Dies In Hospital

Evelyn WeaverEvelyn L. Weaver, 78, of rural Table Grove, died at 1:38 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 1990, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Galesburg.

She was born Nov. 24, 1911, in Lewistown, a daughter of Ruben and Bessie Beadles Krider. She married Clifford D. Weaver Sr. on Dec. 15, 1928, in Keokuk, Iowa. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Gary (Carol) Bradford of Neoga; two brothers, Jacob Krider of LaFayette, Ind., and Kenneth Krider of Peoria Heights; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Clifford E. Jr., three brothers and two sisters.

She was a former Farmers Township Clerk for 27 years and a member of the Election Board.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star in Ipava, White Shrine of Canton and a 50-year member of Fulton County Home Extension. She was a 4-H leader.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ in Table Grove where services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday with Rev. Bruce Peterson officiating. Kost Memorial Home in Vermont was in charge of services. Burial was in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Macomb.

Eastern Star services were held at the Memorial Home Saturday evening.

Memorials may be made to the Table Grove Rescue Squad.
