She was born Oct. 3, 1943, in Macomb, the daughter of Clifford Dolphin Weaver Sr. and Evelyn Luzada Krider Weaver. She married Gary L. Bradford on Nov. 24, 1962. He survives.
Also surviving are two children, Shawn (Donna Butcher) Bradford of Abingdon and Shan Bradford Waid of Galesburg; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford (Kippy) Weaver Jr.; and one son, Shane Dolphin Bradford.
She graduated from VIT High School in 1961. She later obtained her Bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois — Springfield. She was a successful administrative assistant, excelling in typing and editing for doctoral students, assisting with family farm and other outside jobs.
