Lillian F. White, 80, of 253 Wagner Drive, Creve Coeur, for the past year, formerly of Lewistown and St. David, died at 4:50 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 1990, at her residence.
She was born Nov. 18, 1909, in Abingdon, the daughter of Jake and Flora (Winchell) Burgess. She married John W. White in 1943, in Lewistown. He died in November 1973 in Peoria.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Harold, three brothers and six sisters.
Survivors include one son, Everett Chasteen of East Peoria; six daughters, Doris Runion of Akron, Ohio, Betty Jumg of Canton, Deloris Adreon of Creve Coeur, Peggy Wages of Tampa, Fla., Rosalee Southwood of Lewistown and Linda Black of Urbana, Ohio; two stepsons, Larry White of Vermont and Don White of California; two stepdaughters, JoAnn Galliger of Peoria and Pat Johnson of Canton; one sister, Dorothy Woods of Lewistown; 36 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; and five great, great-grandchildren.
She worked in the dietary department at Graham Hospital for 20 years, retiring in 1970.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oaks Memorial Chapel with Rev. Robert K. Holler officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
Memorials may be made to the Peoria Hospice Association or the Heartland Association.
