VeteranCurtis Workman Dies At Age 64

Curtis E. Workman, 64, of Lewistown, died at 7:05 a.m. June 6, 1979, at the Veterans Hospital in Iowa City, Iowa, following a short illness.

He was a salesman at Hyzer Auto Parts before retiring. He was a veteran of World War II, a retired member of the Lewistown Volunteer Fire Department, a member of V.F.W. Post 5001 and Bishop Post 1, American Legion.

Mr. Workman was born Jan. 7, 1915, at Astoria, a son of Dow and Maggie Farwell Workman. He married Garnet Kruzan on Dec. 31, 1945, in Lewistown. She survives.

Other survivors include one brother, William, of Canton, and one sister, Mrs. Arlene Reedy of Table Grove. Two brothers preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown at 10 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Stan Fretwell officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Cancer Society or the Lewistown Rescue Squad.
