Arlene Reedy, 88, of Table Grove, died at 8:10 a.m. Friday, March 28, 1997, at Havana Healthcare Center.
She was born Sept. 5, 1908, in Astoria, a daughter of Dow and Maggie Farwell Workman. She married Wayne Reedy on Nov. 28, 1929, in Astoria. He died July 28, 1960. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, Lance Reedy, three brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Marvin Reedy of Scottsdale, Ariz. and Gordon Reedy of Table Grove; one granddaughter, Teresa Kline of Havana; two great-grandchildren, Anthony and Amanda Kline of Havana; and one brother, Bill Workman of Canton.
She was an accomplished seamstress. She was a member of the Table Grove Community Church.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Tim Gilliland officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery, Table Grove.
Memorials may be made to the Lance Reedy Scholarship Fund at the Vermont Christian Church.
