Relatives and friends here received word this week of the death of Homer Wherley of Pasadena, Calif. on March 1, 1973. He had lived there for some years.
Mr. Wherley was born April 26, 1895, the son of Edward and Susie Burgard Wherley. He was born at Astoria and grew to manhood in this vicinity.
He is survived by two brothers, John Wherley of Canton and Ralph Wherley of Los Angeles, Calif. Several cousins also survive.
Funeral services and burial were held in California.
