Mrs. Flora Williams Dies At Age 86

Mrs. Flora Williams, 86, Rural Route, Browning, died late Monday morning in the Astoria Care Center. She had spent most of her life in the Schuyler County area.

She was born Nov. 5, 1883 in Liberal, Kans., a daughter of William and Margaret Dixon Price. In 1900 she was married to Dr. A. M. Johnson who preceded her in death in 1934. In 1946 she was married to George Williams, who survives.

Also surviving are one son, Earl Johnson of Sedalia, Mo.; one daughter, Mrs. Norman Schnitker of Prescott, Ariz.; two stepsons, G. D. Williams of Frederick and Vern Williams of Beardstown; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary Green of Springfield and Mrs. Verna Swan of Seaside, Calif.; three granddaughters; three step-granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, A. N. Price, George Price and Frank Price.

She was a member of the Sheldons Grove Methodist Church and the Rebekah Lodge of Concord.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. this morning at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. James Elder officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
