Mrs. Fern Wells, 76, of Sesser, died Wednesday evening, Feb. 4, in the hospital in DuQuoin following an illness of several years duration.
She was united in marriage to W. G. Wells, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are 11 children, including Audry Wells of Astoria; 35 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. At the funeral home in Sesser. Burial was in the Sesser Cemetery.
