Relatives in this area have received word of the death of Ernest Walters, 79, of Prairie City, Iowa. Mr. Walters died unexpectedly Thursday.
Mr. Walters formerly resided in Astoria and Canton before moving to Iowa two years ago.
He was married to the former Olive Weese, who survives. Other survivors are three children; two brothers, Floyd Walters of Canton and William Walters of Texas; and one sister, Mrs. Will (Mary) Warner of Summum.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday afternoon in Prairie City, Iowa.
