SUMMUM — Mrs. Hazel Grove received word Saturday evening of the serious illness of her brother, Harley Ward of St. David. He was taken by ambulance to the Graham hospital, Canton. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Ward of Rushville, Mrs. Hazel Grove, Mrs. Ethel Cole of Enion, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Fouts of Lewistown, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Ward of Moline, William Ward of Peoria, Ross Cole and Willis Cole and Mrs. Bernita Howe were to see him on Sunday. They found him in a very critical condition. He passed away Sunday evening. Funeral services will be from Murphy’s funeral home in Canton on Wednesday with burial in Summum cemetery.
