JAMES STEPHEN WRIGHT

Passed Away.

James Stephen Wright was born at Geneva, Filmore Co., Neb., April 8th, 1892 and departed this life at the home of his parents, in Astoria, Ill., Sunday morning at 5:15, Nov. 27, 1910; being at the time of his death, 18 yrs., 7 mo. and 19 days of age.

The deceased was taken ill eight weeks ago with pneumonia and typhoid fever. His sickness seemed to be of such severity that little hope for his recovery was entertained from the beginning. The tenderest care of mother and sisters, and the faithful attention of friends proved futile in staying the progress of the deadly disease.

Much of the time throughout his illness his mind was not clear but in the intervals that it was, he seemed to realize the impending danger, and would call for a minister, this request was granted.

Throughout his long illness he bore his intense suffering with patience.

The subject of this sketch was the son of James and Thursa Wright.

Besides his parents he leaves to mourn his death, one brother, Carl, of Beardstown; and five sisters namely: Mrs. Florence Sandige, of Ray; Mrs. Edith Maxwell, Mrs. Nettie Kelly, Ruth and Helen Wright, of this city. Two sisters Bessie and Annie, having preceded him to the glory world.

The bereaved family has the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community in this, their sad hour of bereavement.

— A Neighbor.
