Elzie Linnwood Vaughn died at his home in Vermont last Tuesday afternoon after an extended period of failing health.
He was born July 10, 1886, to Charles M. and Sarah Ann Miller Vaughn. On Nov. 15, 1919, he married Elva Derry, who died Feb. 25, 1954. Surviving are two sons and a daughter, Ray Vaughn of Bushnell, Earl Vaughn and Mrs. Mary Kinne, both of Vermont; one sister and two brothers, Mrs. Elva Greenplate and Lewis Vaughn, both of Vermont, and Theodore Vaughn of Canton.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Fred Thompson of Astoria. Burial was in Ipava cemetery.
