Antoinette “Tonette” Utsinger, 89, of Avon Nursing Home, formerly of Prairie City, die at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, 1990, at Cottage Hospital in Galesburg.
She was born April 19, 1900, in Davenport, Iowa, a daughter of Henry and Dorothea Lamprecht Krock. She married Carl O. Utsinger. He died in November of 1975.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Eugene “Gene” Utsinger, one sister, two brothers and one half-brother.
Surviving are two sons, Marion Utsinger of Abingdon and Keith Utsinger of Albuquerque, N. Mex.; and two grandchildren.
She and her husband farmed in the Prairie City area for more than 50 years. She was a member of the Prairie City Presbyterian Church.
She was an aunt of Loretta Fisk and Rosa Mae Pollitt of Astoria.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday at Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell with Rev. John Dulling officiating. Burial was in Wiley Cemetery in Fulton County.
