He was born Aug. 29, 1959, the son of David Taylor and Marcella Trone. He married Christy Brennan on June 26, 1988, in Oglesby. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Justin David Taylor of Chicago; one daughter, Jessica Lee Timming (and Jon) of Chicago; four sisters, Marsha Taylor, Mary Ann Cassewl, Lynne Gaunt and Jill Anderson; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He graduated from Kaneland High School class of 1977 in Maple Park. He worked in the IBW Union.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Pastor Adam Dierks officiating. Burial will follow at Palm Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until time of service.
