She was born July 27, 1928, in McDonough County, a daughter of Elva and Inez Miller Robinson. She married Meredith Toland on Sept. 28, 1946, in McDonough County. He preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 2010.
Surviving are two sons, Ronald (RT) Toland (and companion Honey Hilliard) of Quincy and Jerry Toland of Rushville; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She farmed with her husband and worked at J.C. Penney Co. for 28 years before retiring in 1992.
Cremation has been accorded. Graveside services will be held at a later date. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
