Gina TaylorRegina Lynn “Gina” (Meehan) Taylor, 57, of Canton died Dec. 1, 2020, at her home.

She was born Nov. 5, 1963, in Havana, the daughter of Franklin James “Jim” and Norma Jean Trimpe Meehan. She married Dan Taylor on July 27, 2013. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother; three sons, Jordan Fouts of Pekin, Gerad Fouts of Chicago and Justin “J.J.” Montgomery of Canton; and two brothers, Richard James (and Stacey) Meehan of Astoria and Robert Charles (and Jeanne) Meehan of Table Grove.

She was preceded in death by her father.

She worked for Ameren Illinois as the director of public awareness for JULIE.

She prepared meals for the Invictus Woods Sober Living House, and for the past five years she coordinated the Jim Meehan Charity Golf Outing for Alzheimer’s Awareness at Wee Ma Tuk Hills Country Club.

A funeral service was held Monday at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton. Burial was at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or to the Invictus Woods Sober Living Home.
