He was born Dec. 29, 1952, a son of Amos and Gladys Sipes Taber.
Surviving are one daughter, Denise (and Wayne) Blackwell; four brothers, Donald (and Kathy) Taber of Canton, David Taber of Macomb and Dean (and Diane) Taber and Darrell (and Trina) Taber, both of Rushville; one half-brother, Dennis Dykes of Jefferson City, Mo.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Debbie Davis and Dena Taber; and one brother, Russell Taber.
Cremation has been accorded. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
