She was born Aug. 23, 1956, a daughter of Amos and Gladys Sipes Taber. She married James Davis on Nov. 7, 1976, in Rushville. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Jody E. (and Amanda) Davis of Colchester; four daughters, Jennifer L. Rana of Malysa and Janice L. (and Jeremy) Berrier, Jill R. (and Tyler Jones) Davis and Jamie L. Davis, all of Rushville; six brothers, Denny Taber, Dean (and Diane) Taber, Darrell (and Penny) Taber, all of Rushville, Donald, her twin, (and Kate) Taber of Canton, David (and Donita) Taber of Cape Canaveral, Fla., and Russell Taber of St. Louis, Mo.; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant sister, Dena; and one niece, Desiree Taber.
She graduated from Rushville High School with the Class of 1974 and worked at Culbertson Memorial Hospital before starting her family.
She was a member of Pleasant View United Methodist Church.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial will follow in Rushville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
