She was born March 27, 1954, in Chicago, a daughter of Rhoades and Pearl Hadlock Cleavinger. She married David Thomas on April 7, 1973, in Bader. He survives.
Also surviving are three children, Allan Thomas, Melissa (and Jeff) Payton and Jan Nicole (and Jordan Vaughn) Thomas, all of Astoria; one brother, Joe Cleavinger of Rushville; one stepbrother, Tom Hadlock of Rockford; two sisters, Mary Keeler of Lewistown and Vera (and Tim) Vaughn of Paris, Ill.; and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Bob Cleavinger; one stepbrother, Fred Hadlock; and one sister, Rose Davis.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A private celebration will take place at a later date. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton is in charge of arrangements.
