He was born June 25, 1951, in Chicago, a son of Rhodes and Pearl Foss Cleavinger.
Surviving are one brother, Joe Cleavinger of Rushville; and three sisters, Mary Keeler and Ruth (and Dave) Thomas, both of Lewistown, and Vera (and Tim) Vaughn of Paris.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Rose Marie Davis of Astoria.
Cremation was accorded and private burial will be held at a later date.
