Delores "Dee" ThrasherDelores E. "Dee" Thrasher, 67, of Little America died at 10:48 p.m. March 7, 2012, at her home.

She was born Dec. 8, 1944, in Canton, a daughter of Virgil W. and Cora L. Brooks Howarter. She married James R. Thrasher on April 4, 1964, in Lewistown.

Surviving are one son, James M. Thrasher of Lewistown; two daughters, Debbie Jones of Little America and Sandi (and Matt) Kline of Lewistown; four brothers, Richard (and Neva) Howarter of Cuba, Larry (and Peggy) Howarter and Gary (and Doris) Howarter, both of Canton and Virgil L. Howarter of Green Valley; two sisters, Nancy Foster of Cuba and Coralea (and Mike) Teague of Mobile, Ala.; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Gregory Brooks; and one sister, Joanne Johnson.

She worked as a cook at Hilda's Pantry in Lewistown before retiring.

Services were held Monday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Kathy Barrett officiating. Cremation was accorded.
