Doris M. Tippey, 92, of Lewistown died at 9:20 a.m. Dec. 25, 2006, at Prairie View Care Center in Lewistown.
She was born June 9, 1914, in Isabel Township, Fulton County, a daughter of Calvin and Floss Camp Bainter. She married Herbert Tippey on Dec. 16, 1937, in Davenport, Iowa. He survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Scott (and Karen) and Larry (and Pamela), both of Lewistown, and Randy (and Sindy) of Astoria; three sisters, Eleanor (and Alfred) Berry of Canton, Muriel Dilts of Peoria and Shirley (and Max) Boo of Lewistown; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Cecil Bainter; and one great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Ray Greenfield officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the memorial home.
Memorials may be made to Lewistown Rescue Squad or Illinois Street Christian Church in Lewistown.
