ADA LOUISE (FRANCE) DERRY TINGLEY

Louise Tingley

Louise Tingley, 80, died Wednesday, Aug. 14, 1996.

She was born April 12, 1916, in Pueblo, Colo., the daughter of Jesse R. and Maude Kost France. She married Wendell Tingley in Vermont on Dec. 1, 1951. He survives and lives in Colorado Springs.

She is also survived by one son, Dennis Derry of Colorado Springs; one daughter, Luchia Johnson of Colorado Springs; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was a former member of Eastern Star in Vermont. She was co-founder and member of the board of directors of the Hamlett Spay and Neuter Clinic. She loved working with animals. She had lived in Colorado Springs since 1956, previously living in Vermont, Ill. and Pueblo.

Funeral services were held Aug. 19 at Shrine of Remembrance, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. with Rev. Harold Shoemaker officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery.
