MARY KATHERINE (MIKRUT) THOMPSON

Mary K. Thompson Of Summum Dies

Mrs. Robert G. (Mary Katherine) Thompson, 51, of Summum died at 11:40 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, 1980, in Culbertson Memorial Hospital, Rushville.

She had been employed at Hiram Walker & Sons Distillery, Peoria, before ill health forced her to retire. She was a member of Post 6408, V.F.W. Auxiliary at Havana.

Born June 26, 1928, in Williams, Okla., a daughter of William and Pearl McKissack Mikrut, she married Mr. Thompson in Peoria Feb. 19, 1955. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Janice E. Prater of Browning; one son, Pfc. Steven C. Thompson, Fort Riley, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Frances Mickel of Peoria and Mrs. Magalean Williams of Pottstown; and one brother, Charles Mikrut of Zion. One brother preceded her in death.

Funeral services were to be held this morning at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Burial will be in Summum Cemetery.
