Merlyn Jay Trone, 35, a former resident of this area, died at Manhattan Beach, Calif., Saturday after a brief illness.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with the Rev. Leo Richardson officiating. Burial was in the Bader Cemetery.
Mr. Trone was born Jan. 29, 1935, at Table Grove, the son of Kenneth and Lorraine Kirkpatrick Trone. He married Mary Davis May 31, 1955, and she survives.
Other survivors include a son, Patrick at home, and his parents.
