He was born Jan. 20, 1954, in Rushville, the son of Kermit and Barbara Roudebush Schramm. He married Ann Fulks on April 25, 1982, in Rushville. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Nick (and Brianne) Schramm; two grandchildren, all of Springfield; two sisters, Sue (and Don) Behymer of Springfield and Debbie (and Keith) Kramer of Cape Coral, Fla.; and three nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He graduated from Rushville High School in 1972 and received his Bachelors in Marketing degree from Western Illinois University in 1976. He was a Senior Manufacturing Engineer at Caterpillar in East Peoria.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
