She was born Feb. 8, 1934, in Astoria, a daughter of Don and Rebecca Brown Malott. She married Gerald D. Slaight on July 24, 1952, in Palmyra, Mo. He preceded her in death on Dec. 30, 1988.
She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Ada Cluts and Mary Ruth Jones; one grandson; and one granddaughter.
Surviving are three children, Debbie (and Jerry) Motsinger of Bartonville, Michael (and Debra) Slaight of Oak Forest and Diana (and Doug) Reed of Cuba; one sister, Addie Shaw of Thornton, Colo.; six grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and had worked various jobs around the Lewistown area. She was a member of Lewistown Church of the Nazarene. She taught Sunday school.
A private family graveside service and burial was held Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with her grandson, Pastor Ryan Motsinger officiating. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.
