Mary Jones

Mary Ruth Jones, 59, of Ipava died at 12:25 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, 1998, at McDonough District Hospital, in Macomb.

She was born June 16, 1938, in Pleasant Township, Fulton County, to Don and Bessie Rebecca Brown Malott. She married Marlyn D. Jones on Dec. 31, 1957, in Lewistown. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Marla Rumler of Ipava; one son, Darren Jones of Macomb; three sisters, Jeanette Slaight of Lewistown, Addie Shaw of Thornton, Colo., and Ada Cluts of Holiday, Fla.; and three grandchildren.

She was a bank teller for the Farmer’s State Bank of Fulton County in Lewistown for 20 years. She was a member of Maple Avenue Christian Church in Macomb and Fulton County Business and Professional Women.

Services were held Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Rev. John Simmons officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery.
