Wes E. Seward, 73, of Beardstown died at 5 a.m. Dec. 31, 2012, at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville.
He was born July 10, 1939, in Astoria, a son of Covadis E. and Anna Mae Johnson Seward.
Surviving are one brother, Gerald Seward of Beardstown.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Nola Carlete Rose, Patsy Lou Seward and Wanda Lee Seward; and one brother, Donald Seward.
He sold car parts in Lewistown and Ipava.
He was a member of Astoria Christian Church.
Services were held Wednesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Brandon Llewellyn officiating. Burial was in Randall Cemetery in Bernadotte.
