Larry G. Shaw, 68, of Canton died at 6:10 p.m. Friday, March 24, 2006, at Graham Hospital Extended Care in Canton.
He was born May 9, 1937, in rural Astoria, a son of John and Maude Wickwire Shaw. He married Sally Clark on July 5, 1959, in Smithfield. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Craig (and Tammy), Mike (and Jolie) and Roger, all of Canton; three sisters, Frances Hilton of Smithfield, Lila Atwater of Washington and Rosellen Cluney of Bradley; three grandsons; and one granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers.
He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Canton.
He worked for Caterpillar Tractor Co. in East Peoria for 32 years, retiring in 1987. He was a member of UAW 974.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. Ralph Hill and Rev. James Book officiating. Visitation will be two hours before the services. Burial will be in Baughman Cemetery in rural Smithfield.
