Edna M. Shoff, 88, of Vermont, died Saturday, Sept. 21, 1996, at 4:15 p.m. at the McDonough District Hospital.
She was born Jan. 29, 1908, in Peoria County, Ill., the daughter of John and Kate Stegens May. She married Elmer E. Shoff on Feb. 11, 1925. He died Sept. 1, 1976. She was also preceded in death by one son, Elmer Shoff Jr. and six brothers.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty Stephens, of Fruitland Park, Fla.; one son Jack Shoff, of East Peoria; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She worked at the Ken Ray Foundry in Vermont for 10 years and was a 50 year member of the Rebekah Lodge.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Kost Memorial Home with Rev. Jill Johnson-Scott officiating. Burial was in the Elmwood Cemetery in Elmwood.
