Gladys B. Slater, 83, of Canton, died at 12:55 a.m. Saturday, July 8, 1994, at Renaissance Care Center.
She was born Sept. 28, 1911, in Fulton County to Thomas and Addie Downing Johnson. She married James L. Slater on March 16, 1938, in Canton. He survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Addie Lascelles of Ipava and Bonnie Wallick of Yates City; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Two sisters preceded her in death.
She was a member of Church of the Brethren in Canton.
Services were held Monday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home with Rev. Kevin Kessler officiating. Burial was in Highbridge Cemetery in Dunfermline.
