J. H. Stambaugh Dies At Age 37J. H. Stambaugh Dies At Age 37James Henry Stambaugh, 37, of St. Augustine, died at 10:10 a.m. Saturday, July 9, 1988, at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Iowa City.
He was born Aug. 29, 1950, in Macomb, a son of John Henry and Melba Green Stambaugh.
Surviving are his parents of St. Augustine; and three brothers, Hughie Lee Stambaugh of Jefferson City, Ohio, John Alvin and Lloyd Allen Stambaugh, both of St. Augustine. He was a nephew of Lucretia Stambaugh of Astoria.
A construction laborer, he was a Vietnam War veteran.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava with Steve Cunningham officiating. Burial was in the Vermont Cemetery.
