Allyne Shawgo, 63, of Oakford, died at 10:12 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15, 1985, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
She was born Aug. 18, 1922, in Ipava, a daughter of Roy Calvin and Minnie Thornton Stremmel. She married Dono L. Shawgo July 27, 1940, in Keokuk, Iowa. He survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Donovan Shawgo of Libertyville and Richard Shawgo of rural Chandlerville; one daughter, Mrs. Karl (Judy) Beaty of rural Petersburg; 11 grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Phelps and Mrs. Maxine Holtman, both of Beardstown.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Dec. 18, at Lintner-Buchanan Funeral Home in Chandlerville. Burial was in Oakford Cemetery.
