Donald W. Surratt, 64, of Rural Route 1, Ipava, died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, July 7, 1985, in his home.
He was born March 29, 1921, in Sheldons Grove, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Miller) Surratt. He married Gloria Ashbaker Feb. 23, 1945. She survives.
Other survivors include one son, Carl of rural Ipava; four brothers, Charles of Palmer, Phillip and Ernie of Plano and Bobby of Aurora; four sisters, Mrs. Marie Thompson of Macomb, Mrs. Alma Trimmer of Rushville, Mrs. Rosalee Graham of Tovey and Mrs. Eloise Carlock of Gainesville, Texas; and one grandson.
He was a farmer.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shawgo Memorial Home, Astoria with Collis Trone officiating. Burial was in Sheldons Grove Cemetery.
