Francis B. Sawin Dies In Florida

Francis B. Sawin, 66, of Ft. Myers, Fla., formerly of Rushville, died at 1 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 5, 1980, at Ft. Myers Community Hospital.

He was born Apr. 1, 1913, in Golden, Ill., the son of Ralph and Lulu Bottorff Sawin. He married Marjorie McCormick Gillenwater. She survives.

He was employed at Bob Lincoln Oldsmobile Company in Ft. Myers, Fla.

Other survivors include his mother of LaPrairie, Ill.; one stepson, Randy Gillenwater of Elcajon, Calif.; one brother, Harold of Golden; and two sisters, Mrs. Dorethy Hartman of Clay Center, Kan. and Mrs. Betty Chamberlin of Golden.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. David Haney officiating. Burial was in Quincy Memorial Park Cemetery.

Francis Sawin Dies In Florida

Relatives here received word yesterday of the death of Francis Sawin, 67, formerly of Rushville, who died in Ft. Myers, Florida.

He was married to the former Marjorie McCormick Gillenwater. He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Richard McCombs.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville.
