Bryan Simmons, 68, a resident of Browning Township, Schuyler County, died Sunday afternoon at the Culbertson Hospital in Rushville where he had been a patient 12 days.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. this afternoon at the Shawgo Funeral Home in Astoria. The Rev. Forrest Wise will officiate and burial will be in Browning Cemetery.
Mr. Simmons was born Sept. 6, 1897 in Brown County, the son of Wiley and Laura Peacock Simmons. He married Lettie McCombs Nov. 6, 1926 in Rushville. She survives.
Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Smith, Mrs. Gladys McDaniel and Mrs. Blanche McCombs, all of Mt. Sterling. A brother and sister are deceased.
