Mrs. Lillian E. Shelly, 91, died at noon Monday in her home near Astoria. She had been in ill health for about two years.
Born on October 31, 1869, in Woodland township, she was a daughter of Ellis and Hannah Mary Hughes Shields. She was married on Oct. 24, 1893, to James A. Shelly, who died in 1921.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Hart of Astoria; one brother, Ross Shields of Lewistown, two granddaughters and two great-grandchildren. Four brothers and two sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held this afternoon in the Shawgo Memorial Home with the Rev. Eugene Reynold of Summum in charge. Burial was in the Summum cemetery.
