Mrs. Lillian Slaight Dies Friday Evening

Mrs. Lillian Martin Slaight, 68, of Kerton Township, died Friday evening in the St. Francis hospital in Macomb after a long illness.

Mrs. Slaight was born Feb. 15, 1892, the daughter of Sylvester and Anna Gauker Martin. She was married to Frank Slaight on May 16, 1909 in Lewistown, who survives.

Other survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Geneva Harrison of Lewistown, and Mrs. Evelyn McDaniel of Bartonville; three half-brothers, Lawrence Camp of Springfield, Willard Camp of Astoria, and Wallace Camp of Galesburg, and a half-sister Mrs. Mildred Tidrick of Astoria.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Shawgo Memorial Home with Rev. Eugene Reynolds of the Summum Christian church officiating. Burial was in the Summum cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Lawrence Tippey, Chester Salisbury, Ross and Clifton Lockard, Marion Linebaugh, and Dale Belville. Mrs. Shirley McCombs was organist.
