She was born April 2, 1954, in Rushville, a daughter of Florence Bricker and stepfather, Charles Bricker. She married Jack Rockwell on Aug. 15, 1971. They were later divorced.
Surviving are one son, Richard (and Laura) Rockwell; one brother, Larry (and Nancy) Wisecup of Rushville; one stepsister, Linda Sample of Lebanon, Ore.; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one stepbrother, Charles “Buck” Bricker; and one uncle, Tom Wisecup.
She attended Rushville schools and was a caregiver until she retired due to ill health.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Rushville City Cemetery with Rev. Larry DeSha officiating. Inurnment will follow. There will be no visitation. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Schuyler Humane Society or American Diabetes Association.
