Dick RussellRichard “Dick” George Russell, 82, of Industry died Oct. 6, 2020.

He was born July 1, 1938, in Eldorado Township, a son of Glenn and Eileen Young Russell. He married Jane Skiles. She preceded him in death.

He also was preceded in death by one brother, Rodney Russell; and one grandchild, Cody Russell.

Surviving are three sons, Todd (and Robin) of Macomb, Chad (and Dorvea) of Table Grove and Eric (and Yvonne) of Commerce, Texas; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He and his brother Rodney grew up on the family farm. He graduated from Industry High School in 1956.

He was a 50-year member of the Masonic Lodge and served as the Vance Cemetery Sexton. He also was a member of multiple golf leagues, antique tractor clubs, camping groups and an ex-officio staff member Russell Grain.

Cremation rites have been accorded.

A drive-by visitation will be held from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Trinity Academy (old Industry school). You will be able to visit with the family and sign the guest book without getting out of your car. Casual dress is requested. A private burial will be held at Vance Cemetery with minister Donnie Case officiating. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
