David Scott Roegge, 57, of Beardstown died at 4:45 p.m. Feb. 24, 2018, at the Country View Healthcare Center in Macomb.David Scott Roegge, 57, of Beardstown died at 4:45 p.m. Feb. 24, 2018, at the Country View Healthcare Center in Macomb.
He was born Oct. 27, 1960, in Beardstown, a son of Carl Herman and Gloria Jean Meyer Roegge. He married Esta Deanne Bisby on Oct. 24, 1984, in Springfield.
Surviving are two sons, Ryan Scott (and Kimberly) Roegge of Eldorado and Mathew Alan Roegge of Quincy; one brother, Carl Douglas (and Gina) Roegge of McKenzie, Tenn.; and four sisters, Deborah Ann (and William) Worthington, Theresa Dianne Roegge and Nancy Kay (and Terry) Dodds, all of Rushville, and Kathleen Gail Roegge (and partner Bob Berry) of Springfield.
He worked at the Alton Box Board and later in maintenance and was part of the hazmat team at Cargill.
He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Beardstown. He also was a member of the Beardstown Jaycees.
Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Inurnment will follow at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery in Arenzville. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Thursday.
