Steven Richardson

Steven Randall Richardson, 66, of Berea, Ky., died Sept. 12, 2015, at the U.K. Medical Center.

He was born in Fulton County, a son of Calvin and Wanda Flowers Richardson.

Surviving are his wife, Cheryl Viars Richardson; his mother, Wanda Richardson; his children, Ben (and Carmen) Richardson, Mark (and Kathy) Richardson, Heather Richardson and Caleb Reed; four siblings, Dale Richardson, Bill Richardson, Mary Orwig and Cynthia McCombs; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Calvin Richardson; and one grandson, Brent Andrew Richardson.

He was a machinist at International Harvester in Canton and was a Navy Corpsman in Vietnam.

He was a member of Church on the Rock and a councilman for Assembly of God.

Services were held Tuesday at his church with Rev. Mark Sarver officiating. Burial was in the Berea Cemetery with military honors. Lakes Funeral Home in Berea was in charge of arrangements.
