She was born May 3, 1929, in Beardstown, a daughter of John and Gwendolyn Coil Lawson Sr. She married Walter Albert Reeder on Feb. 23, 1946. He preceded her in death on Oct. 26, 1998.
She also was preceded in death by one great-granddaughter, Reagan Bloomfield; seven sisters, Velda Baker, Roberta Hull, Bernadine Lowe, Evelyn Stinson, Gladys Stinson and two infant sisters; and two brothers, Robert Lawson and John Lawson Jr.
Surviving are three daughters, Patricia “Pat” (and Conrad) Bloomfield of Colchester, Judy (and Don) Lucas of Beardstown and Rosella “Ellie” (and Larry) Rolf of Mount Sterling; two sisters, Rethyle (and Martin) Woods of Rushville and Ruby (and Jim) Weishaar of Browning; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She and her husband farmed in Colchester and later in Mount Sterling before their retirement.
She attended Grace Bible Church in Beardstown.
Services were held Monday at Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Reverend Steve Griffin officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
