Robert Renner, 92, of Astoria died at 3:50 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2002, at Astoria Manor.
He was born May 7, 1909, in Vermont, a son of Charles and Ritta Lybarger Renner. He married Gladys R. Rudisill on Aug. 9, 1940. She died Sept. 14, 1996.
He also was preceded in death by one brother.
Surviving are two sisters, Nina Cox of Vermont and Margaret Douglas of Rushville.
He had been a farmer. He was a member of Woodland Church of the Brethren in Astoria.
Services were held Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Vernon Dean officiating. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery.
