Jacob Aaron Rinker Jr., 77, of Eureka, died at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 4, 1997, at his residence.
He was born April 4, 1919, in Table Grove, a son of Jacob A. and Alta Clemens Rinker. He married Era Kempf in California. She survives.
Also surviving are one brother, Dr. Andrew of New Orleans; one sister, Sue Rinker Anderson of Seattle; and nine nieces and nephews.
One brother preceded him in death.
He was a World War II Navy veteran and served as a commander for 20 years. He was a member of the American Legion. He was a former stockbroker for E.F. Hutton. He also was a former director of Woodford County Training Center.
There will be no services. Cremation will be accorded. Otto-Argo Funeral Home in Eureka is in charge of arrangements.
