Wendell E. Reynolds, 81, Astoria, died at 8 a.m. Friday, Feb. 9, 1996, at his home.
He was born Oct. 31, 1914, in Little York, a son of Glen and Dora Rule Reynolds. He married Ina M. Thompson on Dec. 25, 1952, in Astoria. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, David Reynolds of Monmouth, Jim Reynolds of Orion and Dan Reynolds of Plattsmouth, Neb.; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one brother, Kenneth Reynolds of Little York.
He was preceded in death by two stepchildren and one brother.
He worked at McDougal-Hartman Co. in Peoria. He was a member of International Union of Operating Engineers Local 649 in Peoria. He was a member of Astoria United Methodist Church, where services were held Monday with Rev. Lance Leeds officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to his church.
Shawgo Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
