VeteranFrederic Robinson Of Summum Dies

Funeral services were held yesterday afternoon for Frederic “Fred” Robinson of Summum who died at 11:50 a.m. Sunday in St. Francis Hospital in Peoria of injuries suffered Jan. 12 in an automobile accident east of Astoria. He was 74 years old.

Mr. Robinson was born Aug. 11, 1895 in Ipava, the son of Charles B. and Maggie Shaver Robinson. He was married on May 15, 1925 to Lanah Wilson, who survives.

Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ann Barry of Good Hope; one son, Charles Robinson of Summum; one grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Mercer of Spokane, Wash., and Mrs. Irma Haare of Beardstown.

Mr. Robinson was a veteran of World War I and a member of the American Legion Post No. 25 of Astoria.

Rev. Fines Main officiated at the 2 p.m. services in the Shawgo Memorial Home. Burial was in the Summum Cemetery.
